Here are some details of recent developments we thought you would like to know about.
Quest Bulgaria Magazine
We would like to draw your attention to the Quest Bulgaria magazine. We believe the magazine offers excellent unbiased advice to all prospective buyers and also for those who have already purchased property in Bulgaria - editorial and information on legal issues, property purchase, setting up a Bulgarian company, visas, where to buy, property management,... in fact, all your Bulgarian property needs.
We have also managed to secure a discount for all our clients so please mention where you heard about the magazine when you contact them. Flights to Varna Available All Year Round
Wizz Air (http://wizzair.com/) started regular flights between London and Sofia via Budapest. The prices start from just 29 Euros (airport taxes not included).
Now flights to the coastal region of Varna are available all year round. Bulgaria Air, Malev Airlines and the Austrian Airlines offer flights from the UK to the Black Sea Coast through the winter. Please check with your local agent or contact Jam Advise Travel at the link below for up to date information about flight schedules. For those wishing to visit the ski resorts, Veliko Turnovo and Rousse the airport of Sofia remains the best choice.
Mortgages for Bulgarian Property
For those of you who are interested in obtaining a mortgage for a property in Bulgaria now there is a UK based company which can advise you on your options. Bulgarian Home Loans was set up as a sister company to Simplicity Financial Services. Currently there are only two companies that offer Bulgarian mortgages. Just as the Bulgarian property market is relatively new as is the availability of mortgages, but as the market matures and with us working with Bulgarian banks it is expected the number of available mortgages to increase. The other option that is available is through a UK re-mortgage or other UK finance loans.
The Bulgarian Home Loans charge a fee of 150 pounds for a full consultation and obtaining a decision in principal from the appropriate finance company. This will be fully refundable if no appropriate solution is found for the client.
